Goofy Girls
Another busy weekend but the girls did find time to play in the sprinkler. Emma and Myra stopped by for a while and Emma took this picture. Is there anything that Emma could ask them to do that they wouldn't?
Crazy life we live
So this morning the twins woke up and told me that they had homework for school and it was due today! They must write out their complete address. So, we get the paper and pencils out and start writing! Phoebe states, "I don't want to live in Texas, I want to live in Alaska!". I tell her about all the snow and cold there and how she would have to wear a hat, gloves and a scarf everyday. She then gives me her sad, pitiful look and states, "It's too hard for me to love you all the way to Alaska everyday.....I want to go with you to work in Alaska!"
To this, Chloe states, "Do what I do. I put a huggie and kissie in her lunch everyday, that way it is not so hard for me."
I recruit for a Hospital Group in Alaska. I sit in my pajamas, in my warm office and talk on the phone all day! I do not go to Alaska everyday, but my poor little girls think I fly to Alaska everyday to work AND it is just too much for them to send their love with me.
It was a wonderful way to start the day and I am still smiling about it!
Enjoy your life!!

First Lost Tooth
If you have any knowledge of the Evan’s genes the you know how big a deal it is to lose a tooth because and adult tooth is pushing it out. Well that is what has happened in the Nethery household.
Dylan had been saying for sometime that her tooth hurt and wiggled. Neither Denise nor I took it too serious because we had told her that she most likely would not lose any teeth. But, on Monday she showed me her tooth and low and behold it was about to fall out. I panicked and called the Dentist and got her an appointment that day. I was sure her tooth was rotting from all the junk food we let her eat.
As it turns out, her two front adult teeth are coming in and that was the cause of the lose tooth. So, while we were there the Dentist went ahead and removed the tooth. Dylan handled it like a champ! She took the tooth home in a small purple treasure chest and put under her pillow. That night the tooth fairy paid her a visit and left her five dollars.
It was very exciting and a big relief for the parents. Glad to know she does have at least half of her adult teeth that should come in someday.
Here is the proof of the loss and excitement.

I o'Condeeos
So I driving Phoebe and Chloe home from school today listening to some music. Phoebe said "Play your favorite song, I o'condeeos". My replay was....What? After she repeated about five times I finally figured it out...Adios and vaya con Dios.
So here you go...
Chloe Rocking a Horse Ride
Our neighbors around the corner stable horses and often folks ride their horses in our neighborhood. This evening we just so happen to be outside when some folks came riding by. One of them offered to give ride and Chloe was the only one ready to take the leap.
This doesn’t happen in most neighborhoods in the middle of town!

For some reason, allergies?, Chloe has been itchy and I couldn’t get here to focus on taking these pics.
Good Day at the Nethery’s
Dad running errands in the AM….alone. Cleaning the house with Phoebe and Chloe late AM and early PM. Surprise birthday parth for our good friend Myra at 2p with her friends and family. Kids playing in the sprinkler after the party. A great dinner and then catching lighting bugs with the kids just before sunset. Fun!
Did I mention the three bucks that keep visiting the neighborhood?

Master of Tying Her Shoe Laces
Tonight Dylan sat down, after a few lessons, and taught herself how to tie her shoe laces. She keeps smiling and giving the tightest hugs. She is so proud of her accomplishment it makes me want to cry.
BTW...she went to her first soccer camp this week. She had never played soccer before. She really excelled per one of the camp coaches. She scored two goals one day.
We keep telling her, and her sisters, she can do anything she sets her mind too.
Fun at the Neighbors
Our neighbor, Mike, celebrated his 50th birthday today at his house with friends. Since so many of his friends have young kids, he got our other neighbor who owns a horse farm to educate the kids about horses. They learn what it takes to care for a horse, what they eat, etc... and they were about to brush the horse which they really enjoyed.
The high point of the visit was watching the horse and trainer perform tricks in the arena. After the show the kids were all able to feed the horse a carrot from their hands.
The trick that got the most applause was when the horse rared up like in the old westerns.

Afterwards were toured the rest of the farm and learned about the different types of horses. Ok, maybe there wasn't much learning but there was a lot of fun.

Phoebe and Chloes Birthday
We made it past three years and it has really gone fast with the first 13 months as an exception ;-). The girls had a great time with all the attention at school. I wasn't able to make but Denise and Aunt Jenn sure enjoyed the party.
You can find the pictures here.
Christmas Pictures....Finally
Well, I am finally getting around to getting Christmas pictures uploaded. We had a really good time with the family here. Papa, Meme, Aunt Jennifer, Aunt Terri and Aunt Jenn's man Rick. Lots of food, fun, gifts and noise.
